I have set up this VocalEyes group with the author names hidden currently because this forum ought to be about the validity of the ideas rather than the ID of the person posting them. Authorship can be identified by administrators.

In order to foster the dissemination and exploitation we need to set up the social media (facebook for students and linked in for teachers for example) (duplicate)

I feel that twitter is currently the best social media platform to disseminate to - tutors in the UK are not allowed to communicate with students via Facebook in any event. Many tech ed professionals are active on Twitter and pretty much all networking organisations use it. I'd like to see us promoting mTransition via twitter and onto our website - and I'd also like to see professionals pointed to this group to participate in action and best-practice sharing rather than socialising which is what tends to be the focus on Facebook. I don't want people in my professional circle engaging in deliberations with me using my (private) Facebook profile - tho I am quite happy about LinkedIn. As long as the postings on LinkedIn are them pushing people to our website or to this forum.
